The mission of the RCTWS is to contribute to capacity building in the field of integrated water resources management, water engineering and water-related sciences specifically for the Arab and Nile Basin Countries, as well as arid and semi-arid regions.

Create, prepare and carry out regional training and educational programs
in all relevant aspects of integrated water resources
management, water engineering and water-related
sciences for various levels of expertise.
:.: Identify, and participate in applied research programs in subjects
and issues relevant to the arid and semi-arid zones of the region in cooperation
with the National Water Research Center, MWRI.
:.: Create, reinforce and support networks of water sector professionals
and educational institutions to exchange scientific, educational
and technical information in all relevant aspects of integrated water resources
management engineering and other water-related
sciences.
:.: Provide a regional
forum for professional contacts between water sector professionals
and scientists and organize workshops and seminars.
